Ladies & Gentlemen,

START. YOUR. ENGINES. Bluegrass Karting & Events is the PERFECT venue for group events and we are confident you will have an amazing time racing, throwing axes, and smack talking with one another...even if you lose. SAFETY is our top priority with FUN being a very close 2nd...or 1st place loser depending on how you view it. Because axes can be inherently dangerous and our karts are faster than your standard Family Entertainment Center, we do require some additional measures and caution for your safety and ours.  Thank you in advance for your consideration.

Guests Registration. Guests who have NOT joined us before should click HEREto register online using Event Code 244043. All guests, including those who have joined us before, should check in at the front counter upon arrival to verify registration. Disclaimer #1: if you do not create a fun/clever Racer/Thrower Name for yourself, our staff will be forced to give you one with input from your competition. You will be referred to by this name for the entire event.

Requirements. You must know how to have fun, so please call-in sick or get lost on the way if you're not ready to laugh and play. If you cannot already tell, we like to encourage all the friendly banter we can. All racers and throwers must wear closed toe shoes. Please no high heels, sandals or flip flops...but if you hope this is your chance to sit out, don't worry. We have some sweet tennies you can borrow.

Waivers. Insurance and State regulations require all drivers and throwers to sign their life away and complete an introductory safety briefing prior to racing or throwing axes. You must be over the age of 18, with a valid ID (yes, suspended licenses count), to sign your own waiver.

Safety Briefing. Our Safety Briefings introduce guests to indoor karting and axe throwing, kart operation, safety regulations, track rules, axe throwing arena rules, driving tips, and throwing tips. The Safety Briefing does not teach individuals how to drive, so please practice that on your way to our track. If additional instruction or guidance is needed, please ask and we will be happy to help! Reckless drivers and axe throwers can limit the amount of quality entertainment for other participants and pose a safety risk to themselves and others, and safety is top priority. Upon completion of the Safety Briefing, all drivers are outfitted with mandatory safety equipment, including headsocks (trust us, they are awesome), helmets and neck collars. Disclaimer #2: You are required to wear your headsock for the entire event and have at least one photo taken with it on.

We are excited to host your group! Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. Let the trash talk commence.

Thank You!

Kevin Heidemann
